Ordering Policies

 


We’re so excited to bake for you! To make sure every treat is perfect:

 

  • Order Deadlines: Orders should be submitted at least 5 days before your desired pickup or delivery date. Holidays may require earlier notice.

  • Minimum Orders: Custom cookies come in ½ dozen or dozen increments. Cakes are available in mini, medium, or large sizes, or custom upon request.

  • Payment: A deposit or full payment is required for all custom orders. We accept Venmo, or payment via Shopify.

 

 

 

 

Pickup & Delivery

 

 

  • Pickup: Orders can be picked up at our home bakery by appointment. Please check your confirmation for exact address and time.

  • Delivery: We deliver within a specified radius (ask for details) and may charge a small fee. Delivery times are estimates, and we’ll text updates to keep you posted.

  • SMS Notifications: By providing your phone number, you consent to receive SMS updates about your order. Standard messaging rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out.

 

 

 

 

Allergy & Ingredient Disclaimer

 

 

  • Our treats are made with love in a home kitchen that handles nuts, dairy, gluten, and other allergens. We cannot guarantee products are allergen-free.

  • Special dietary requests (gluten-free, vegan, nut-free) are welcome, but cross-contamination is always possible.

 

 

 

 

Refund & Cancellation Policies

 

 

  • Refunds: Custom baked goods are generally non-refundable due to their perishable nature. Exceptions are made if there is a mistake in flavor or design.

  • Cancellations: Please notify us at least 48 hours before your scheduled pickup or delivery. Deposits for custom cakes or special orders may be non-refundable.

 

 

 

 

Storage & Handling

 

 

  • Cream-filled or delicate items: Refrigerate immediately and consume within 48 hours.

  • Shelf-stable cookies: Keep in an airtight container for up to 5 days.

  • Freezing: Most items can be frozen—ask us for tips when you pick up your treats!

 

 

 

 

Liability Disclaimer

 


Dough & Daze is not responsible for mishandling, spoilage, or allergic reactions after the product has left our kitchen. Consumption is at your own risk if you have allergies.

 

 

 

Photography & Social Media

 


By submitting an order, you consent to Dough & Daze using photos of your custom treats for social media and marketing purposes unless you request otherwise.

 

 

 

Legal & Licensing Notes

 

 

  • Our bakery operates under cottage food laws, which vary by state and county. Certain perishable items (like cream-filled desserts) may have restrictions.

  • All products are made in a home kitchen that has not been inspected by the Department of Health.

  • Ingredients and allergens are listed on every label, for example:

    “Made in a home kitchen. Contains: wheat, dairy, eggs, and nuts.”
